WE HAVE MUCH TO CELEBRATE THIS ROTARY YEAR OF PEACE THROUGH SERVICE!
And we have just the time and place for that celebration!
The ‘iRotary District Conference’ in the heart of downtown Vancouver, BC from May 30 to June 2, 2013.
As Rotarians, we change lives and we make our home communities and our world better places through our volunteer service. Our Rotarians in District 5050 have made us a world leader in the fight against polio. Our impact as individual Rotarians is even greater through the multiplying effect of 1.2 million Rotarians around the world and through the financial strength of our Rotary Foundation.
The iRotary District Conference will be bigger, better and bolder than ever before - so that we can inspire our members to continue their good work, and also to inspire our young people to make a difference. We have lots of fun events and great speakers as you will see in the following pages.
This Rotary year is the 25th Anniversary of District 5050.
We have many reasons to be proud of our accomplishments during those years and great optimism for what we will do during this anniversary year as we move forward into the future.
